Don’t get me wrong, leanmaxxing is crucial if you are overweight. But I’d venture to say that for most guys here, your issue is insufficient muscle mass, not excess bodyfat. The leaner you get the harder it becomes to gain and maintain a solid amount of muscle. “Water” you tell me…yet then why are so many autists on here trying to get down to sub 10% bodyfat when they have shit muscle? Take a look at this….

Bale looks around 14% here, Efron is probably 8%. Both are gonna be appealing, but at 14% bodyfat you will feel so much healthier, and you’ll be able to make great gains. These ripped guys you see online are usually on all sorts of PEDs, which are a looksmin in the long term, and/or they are psychologically miserable and have fucked up health. Ruining your whole life to get that body just so you can have a little more appeal to JBs is just stupid. Unless you have freak genetics that support it, in which case you’re a lucky bastard.

Realistically, you need 2/3 bulks and you'll have enough muslce mass to fit your frame and have a good physique. Then just maintain that at 12-14%.

i had a co worker who was walking 10 percent body fat year round and i talked to the dude and he said that he was always like that he looks small in a shirt and even smaller in sweater he never bulk or cut just trains eat whatever he wants

Yup but I’m not sure if I’m a candidate. I literally have hollow under eyes. I’m nkt sure if I’ll need a physical implant or not

I have a similar issue and I’m trying fat grafting in a few weeks. I’ll let you know how it goes.

It seems to me that dermal fillers are preferred by many doctors simply because they’re a lot easier and faster which = more profit. Fat grafting is much more involved. My doc told me he preferred fat grafting because implants have a relatively high rate of removal and a tougher recovery.

I feel like if you have pretty good bone structure, wide gonions and stuff you'll look far better the leaner you are, but if you have worse bone structure you will look unhealthy like a meth head

I didn't eat too well during puberty, ended up at 6'3- fraud 6'4
I def could have been at least 6'5 if I just ate well and played a sport

Indeed. I reached under 10% BF in 2020, and my skin looked awful, eyes were sunken in, I felt terrible and lazy 24/7, and my hair was dull and very low quality

only positive things I got from it was hollow cheeks that were barely noticeable and a jawline that was slightly sharper than usual. i learned from that colassal fuck up and maintained a 14-16% BF ever since

Did u reversed it? Same story, im afraid its permanent the skin and fat damage

I would say that everyone should get first to 10% bf so they can "measure" along the way, at what bf is a good balance of looks and health

But of course there are people who will look bloated unless they get to low bf, so for them it's necessary

Highly genetic and age dependent. dont leanmaxx when growing unless fat. Otherwise if 20+ just try it and see if you look better. Most look better, but some don't. Just take pictures along the way so you know where your sweet spot is.

Being lean is mostly about the face, even if you lose some muscle you'll still look better.

But it isn's sustainable for some guys because you will feel like shit while very lean

10-15% is a huge gap for facial aesthetics especially if you don't have very prominent bones to begin with, or genetically store more fat in your face
