Most people have good upper thirds after seeing a lot with just masks on.

The masks cover their midface, and lower third. However most people I see have decent eye areas, but when they take off their mask, they look subhuman. Mouth area plays a huge role. Midface plays a huge role. Your nose too. It is amazing how bad a lot of people's midface are. It's either too shortened and scrunched up. Looks fucking ridiculous, or can be too long. The nose can be too wide or too big, and the philtrum can be disgusting.

Eyes really are very overrated.

everything above the neck is important, i'd argue eye area is more important because jaw is usually fixable

Most ppl have decent eye areas though. Their failos are their nose, midface, philtrum, mouth area, jaw and chin.
