Mouth guards

Do mouth guards help you with forward growth i saw a tiktok about it and i started wearing it after 2 days i dont see any difference except my teeth feel not in theyre place i bite on it lightly for 2-3hrs a day and sleep with it

Im saying the only thing i feel is my mouth not being able to close well so maybe it can have bad putcome on my looks thats why im asking
