MSE after braces

I did Invisalign 2 years ago but I kinda wanna get a palate expander as well. If I got one would it cause a gap in my teeth which would cause me to have to get braces again?

if ur doing for aesthetic reasons don't bother, if u still want it then yes it will make a gap in between your teeth as your suture will be split which will result in you needing braces to close the gap (diastema).

yup, palatal expansion splits the mid palatal suture forming the gap in the middle of ur front teeth which would require you to get braces again temporarily for like 6 months max to then reallign and bridge the gap again

if you get mse during adulthood youre less likely to see much of a visible change apart from having more tongue space, whereas if u were to get mse from young it would far ascend you and there will 100% be noticeable differences
