(20 yr old) in this example, he had a normal bite and he was dumb for getting MSE BUT it the fact that it resulted in a severe overbite proves that the fm (along with mse) actually moved the maxilla forward in relation to the mandible:

now this one is just insane...a true ugly to chad transformation

That second one isn't MSE though, it's MSE & Facemask on a growing child. That huge forward growth would not have happened without the many hours a day (probably sleeping with it all night) of the facemask pulling the upper jaw forwards.

how does this prove that it creates maxillary upswing though with that example? the guy having an overbite now doesn't mean his maxilla grew forwards

Its not MSE, This is Dr. Sandra Kahns own son and the facemask is connected to a regular palatal expander(biobloc or some other useless thing...) And the results are frauded.
