Surgeon most likely wants to give your braces afterwards
and especially if you want Bimax ect.

You can start as soon as the suture has split from the mse. The older you are, the risk of mse failure is higher.

Don’t think they will conduct a study since there already was one. But i guess u could get them interested if they haven’t tried mse fm on a patient

Yeah there is not study right now but as you said their interest is something you want
it could be helpful to beat around the bush for studies you can apply to be a patient on, you show your knowledge to the doctor and demonstrates that you will be someone easy to work with and bounce ideas off of.

No I live in Oklahoma. A very blackpilled, experienced mse provider is kinda near you though. Search up ting orthodontics. His email is rtingdds@hotmail.com he does full mse cosmetically
