So, I think 3 months ago, I decided to hop on Dutasteride, because my hairloss got stronger. My hair is extremely dense and curly (not African curls).
It also started with me seeing very good gym progress. Why do I tell you that?
Here's my theory: when I put on a lot of muscle in my late teens I think it was because my testosterone rose (late bloomer) and with high T comes high D which then led to hairloss.
But yeah, I then decided to hop on 0.5 mg of Dutasteride because I think Finasteride is cope. I mean, why do you only want to block 60% of your DHT? but anyways, were there any side effects? Not really. My libido, confidence and all those sexual markers are great, but the only thing I noticed was that my beard got thinner.
And yeah I know that this is bad, but honestly I would keep my hair instead of beard.
If you deep dive into the functions of DHT you will realize how unnecessary DHT is.
