So I mean bimax recovery is rough dude being honest, first week really sucks. No real pain but just discomfort, insane swelling, dry broken lips, jaw very cramped from the elastics, cant enjoy food

I'm currently 10 days post, second week is a lot easier, the main annoying thing at this point is that you have to wear really tight elastics which feels like you are biting down on a piece of wood 24/7. Apart from that its not so bad its more just about managing boredom as you are stuck in a hotel room for 3 weeks

My advice is to stay within 5 minutes of his clinic and do a really big shop for everything you need before surgery

easily if you have a desk job, you could do it after 8-9 days assuming you dont mind people noticing how swollen you are

I just decided I wanted to address the underlying deficiency rather than cover it with implants, there was nothing wrong with my implants they looked good

I may get some new ones put in once bimax heals

Thankfully no complications so far except minor early contact of my molars on bite causing a tiny open bite which will be fixed with invisalign

Aesthetically the result is amazing, the design was perfect. I asked for a hyper anteface and he gave me such good projection and harmony

Contrary to what people said the cheek implants look great too, great ogee curve which tapers into my cheek hollows well

Did you notice any change in the eyes/eye area as a result of these procedures?

I’ve seen a lot of cases where the eye area seem to change as a result of bimax. Of course the implant will help here too.

impossible to say, my eye are improved but i had infraorbital implants and fat grafting below my eye which definitely helped

no its not really going to give those kinds of results, i used it to fill in my undereye hollows a bit, which is what is best used for

If you get him to design it for you, once he sees the design and sees its saddled, i doubt he will agree to do the surgery
