I am working on a compound that can increase D2 (dopamine) receptors long term in the brain this will likely help also poor health or chronically being online make things way worse

Some people just have a higher cap for dopamine. Issue with dopamine drugs like adderall or dopamine fasting is it neglects the core issue the lack of receptors and receptor sensitivity. People with low D2 receptor density have less dopamine to work with so need more extreme forms of it. But there are drugs that could possibly induce BDNF or reactivate more neurons at once leading to permanent changes in dopamine.
