Then my brother sat down at the Thanksgiving dinner and went destiny mode

But when I asked " do you not think increasing birth control and advocating for abortion will increase hedonism and cause less family's to come together"

He said there's no evidence

You don't really need evidence for a claim like that. Not really at all

I didn't say abortion is inherently hedonistic, but that encouraging it will inherently increase hedonism

But my brother is completely ungodly,

but he takes psychedelics, and claims he believes in a God, a more abstract one

I couldn't beat him on the point that the baby isn't conscious though

But then he also told me that Christians destroyed America by being crazy zealouts
