My consult with Dr. G

I had a in-person consult with Dr. G. Cliffs:

• I have a really weak lower third / look like I have SFS. Still, I am not eligible for jaw surgery. My bite is too good and the risks are too high. Dr recommended genio, cheekbone implants, and jaw angle implants instead. I actually agree with him. The fact that I look like I have SFS is more of a function of me just having a genetically chubby face and a weak chin.
• The office was interesting. You first enter this general hospital office park building with zapping fluorescent lights and a rundown elevator, then you get to the door that says Dr. G and open it, and it's nicely decorated and modern. It's like you enter another world.
• Dr. G was extremely meticulous in taking my photos and scans. He poked and prodded at my face to try and find the issues. Asked me to pose in various ways, took measurements, etc. I am so glad I went to him.
• All of his staff and Dr. G were really nice and pleasant. I can't imagine how aspie I appeared to just be some random young retard flying out to visit him. They all seemed skeptical of why I was there at first, but I appreciate the fact that they took me seriously, gave me a thorough diagnosis, and sat down with me to discuss steps forward.

Overall super worth it! I can rest easy now, I trust Dr. G's judgement. Always in the back of my head I was thinking "but what if bimax?" and now I can rest easy. No bimax for me, but I'm definitely looking to book genio now.

What was unfortunate was, he recommended some procedures to improve my appearance (the same procedures that I had in mind actually), but he could not recommend any plastic surgeons. He basically told me, everyone's crazy and wants to go huge on things. So yeah. That sucks. Brb finding the best genio surgeon in the world.

That place went downhill after Dr. A retired. I haven't seen recent results from their clinic (maybe they've "recovered") but there was a huge spike in poor results after Dr. A retired and Dr. G was left to steer the ship alone in the surgery room.

Also I'd trust Dr. A's opinion way more because he has authored several papers regarding facial aesthetics and has done several other things to assess what's considered "ideal" and implement that into his surgeries.

Edit: its not gunson, he says the guys last name is Cliffs, also Gunson doesnt do genioplasties or recommend them cuz he aint a retard and knows jaws dont grow perfectly but then the chin doesnt grow, if your chin is too far back its cuz ur jaw is.

My jaws are already protruding out of my skull to an extreme degree. moving them forward would just look like the Joe camel special. Also my incisor show is perfect right now so downgraft is out of the question.
