Going to get myself booked in for filler in my chin (and possible pre-jowl sulcus).

Here is what I'm planning on asking for, and what I look like. Does this look good or are the numbers wrong.

I'll ask

"I want both horizontal and vertical chin augmentation — about 3–4 mm of forward projection and 2–3 mm of vertical lengthening. I want a masculine, squared chin, not pointy or rounded. I’d also like pre-jowl support to maintain a straight jawline transition.

I want a broader, flatter anterior chin pad, not a V-shape or cleft. Strong but natural.

I prefer deep structural placement on bone rather than superficial soft tissue filler."

2ml should cover this. My recesssion is only minor, and I don't want to go OTT.

Let me know your thoughts...

You'll probably be disappointed in the results. Diy your own filler like I have after I've tried doing the same thing you are right now. It's also 1900% cheaper than what most clinics will quote you.

Should be fine, injectors will usually talk you through it and show some reference pics before injecting anything.

Where have you done your filler before?

Thanks for your reply. I wouldn't risk it personally, not for now at least. Do you think that is a good goal in terms of millimetres, or do you think more would be needed? (Though I can of course just get a top up if I decide its needed)

Thanks for your reply. Do you think 3mm forward and 2mm down is a good goal iniitally? I can always top it up if I decide I need more. But initally best to be conversative. Cheaper to add more than take away...

That's what I was gonna say lol, you can always just wait a week for the swelling to calm down and get more done

Where have you done your filler before?
Gonions (2ml each side), chin (4ml), upper lateral zygo shelf 1.5ml each), midface (anterior zygos around 2-3ml), tear troughs (1ml each side) and I believe that was it for DIY. I was really disappointed with the results I got from a clinic prior where I paid $700 per syringe for my midface and chin alone, now it only costs me $25-40 depending on the type of filler I buy for different parts of my face to add to my implants.

You did tear troughs? Do you have B&A's for that? I might be DIYing fat grafting and will need experience doing filler in my undereyes before I inject my own fat.

I never injected straight into my tear troughs but started off at the base of them to avoid the infraorbital artery for obvious reasons, then massaged the gel into my tear troughs to cover about 60% of the bottom since going too high might add puffiness. Not sure how safe diy grafting could be however.

Good work if this isn't larp.

It's not, desperate times call for desperate measures

No point in larping on here outside of cel validation

4ml on chin!!!? all in one go!!!??

Of course not, I already had about 0.5ml left in there originally, and did about 1.5ml my first day then kept touching it up every other day to get the results I wanted. If anything the post injection swelling makes it appear much more prominent than it really is once it settles, so I had to go and buy some more

But still, i mean most people would only use like 2 ml for chin area , if that. Were you quite recesed? Based off of my side profile how many ml do you think I'll need?

I wasn't recessed necessarily, I did have a pretty short skull though. And considering I wanted a higher fwhr I extended it vertically and horizontally to balance out my harmony within the gonion flare additions I made and zygomatic bone contouring. My goal was to basically give myself a taller + wider skull, not just fix one feature that didn't match the rest.
