i slept for 2 hours and then i woke up with my knees and lower femurs in excruciating pain and it fucking hurt so bad :feelswah:

i don’t know wtf i did but it’s genuinely top 20 worse pains in my life

What to do right now​


  • Drink water (and ideally electrolytes)
  • Gentle stretching of quads, hamstrings, calves
  • Warm shower or heat pack
  • Light walking around
  • Avoid locking your knees while sleeping tonight

This could be some muscles cramps strong ones, or some cucked nerves in your lower back

I doubt it’s a joint issue cause you said it’s your whole leg so I think it should be worth checking

this has happened to me before, you might have compressed a certain nerve in your legs and once it's still waking up - hence the sudden pain signal, wait a bit and see what happens or get help if you think it's serious.

it feels like the bone like the knee and lower femur part but it’s kinda muscular too

i legit saw a thread about this shit last week and i was aw too bad man and now i get this shit posted up on christmas at 5 am

Hmm It could be a knee joint issue or a lower back nerve issue or maybe just strong muscle cramps

like all i did different yesterday was take a 30 minute walk there’s no way that caused this

It’s probably the muscles then you see when you work out, the second day your muscles kinda really hurt right? It’s the same mechanism when you run too. Maybe that’s the issue and that’s really easy tbh just stretch and rest but if it’s a joint or a nerve issue it will be a bit more complicated anyways just rest and see how it goes

the 1% chance that i will ascend to gandy heaven and grow an inch taller is in my mind

but it’s probably just inflammation cause stretching makes it worse

Likely a nerve issue. But make sure you’re not dehydrated. Whenever I have leg pain after doing something it’s usually because of dehydration.
