Based off the little you provided she seems like she would benefit from the professional approach, better to get ahead of that, as opposed to letting it spiral into conflicting with her med school progress, and then she's out of the program, and then she gets distressed, you can see where I'm going with that. So create a stable and safe support system for her, most importantly be that support system for her and it will payoff tenfold, but also get her family involved and get professionals involved, take it seriously before it spirals in an uncontrolled environment. Just trying to reach and maintain stability.
