I told my mom years ago that every coupled of months we need to pour some concentrated lye throug the pipe to clean any build up of shit and gunk. Prevention. Well tommorow I will go buy 5 kg of solid lye flakes and dump them pure in the pipes and cover with water. The reaction is exothermic and causes the water to boil, I might film and post it. It, however, destroys any organic matter in a short amount of time.

I dont know what the problem is with them tbh, replacing them is a massive and expensive job. If lye was used preventatively then all would be fine anyways. I was able to unclog them with sodium hydroxide every time before, how much more effective it will be at prevention if it can clear a total blockage?
