My MARPE Before and After - Stronger/Higher Cheekbones and Upturned Orbitals

Now we are using custom MARPE - no MSE or FME. MSE is so 2020, and we did maybe 20 of them. FME unfortunately hit the market too late - next to custom marpe they are obsolete - Custom mogs every time. Not to mention it costs as much as a custom MARPE or even more. I could see FME being the superior option over MSE-II for budget patients who cant afford custom MARPE but I dont see why anyone would choose a none custom for more money.

I'm planning to get bimax but I wanted to expand my palate first as I have an IMW of 34ish mm. What makes the custom MARPE better than the FME?

I have a IMW of 33mm, I'm gonna have a segmental lefort, apprantly maximum expansion there is 5mm. is that genereally enough?

I'm pretty sure segmented lf1 can relapse and doesn't benefit you speaking of midface & zygo so it'd be better to widen via expander, at least this is what I'm planning to do (IMW of 34mm)

I'm doing advancement and downgrafting as well. I have lived with dental implants for a long time due to retarded dentists not giving me a bimax which I should have gotten when I was young. orthodontics after would be a nightmare, but the surgeon I'm talking to can do the segmental lefort and change the dental bridges on top of the implant screws to skip that whole orthodontics part.

Will also use hip bone as donor bone so I hope that will aid in keeping it from relapsing.

Yeah they know fuck all, I grew up with a rare condition called tooth agenesia, means you don't develop all your adult teeth, which again causes alveolar ridge to not grow down and forward.

Those retards didn't even think "hey maybe we should build up the bone this dude didn't develop properly", they just slapped in implants and called it a day.

damn that's harsh dude, my dad had a bad experience with dental implants too. Just try to do everything in your power atp

IMO, MARPE/FME should be the first step on anyone's surgical journey.

What was your imw width before? Im at 40mm and i want to expand a little before i get djs. Probably go to 45ish since some of it is tipping of the molar. Its gonna cost me prolly about 60 k total for everything i want to do but i got a good job and live with my parents so nows the ideal time any advice would be appreciated and also your plans too.
