I identified my overbite halfway through elementary school and also correctly identified that it was making my face look like Theodore from Alvin and the Chipmunks despite being skinny.
Instead of listening to me, they tried to gaslight me and outright denied that my overbite was even there even after I showed them (it was class 2, not hard to identify at all given it was one of my classmates that pointed it out to me), and even went as far as to say that I was being obsessed with my looks and to focus on school or whatever.
If you've never experienced it, you have no idea what having such an ugly falio does to you if you've carried it around for the better half of a decade, especially if it's fixable, you're reminded of it every time you eat or even think about your mouth or brush your teeth, and all the while everyone else tries to tell you that it doesn't matter, that you're just being obsessed with how you look etc. Even the most eager reddit bluepillers know an overbite is ugly.
Anyways, it ruined my self-confidence and over time, ruined my ability to socialize as I always felt slightly "off" and always had it in my mind that I was objectively slightly facially inferior to everyone else. I ended up as an abused dog and constantly felt like a retarded loser because my parents were too cheap to get me braces.
I have them now, but every time I think of it, I just get angry at my parents and every feeling of wanting to be kind and of obligation to do what they want of me just disspiates. It's infuriating that people were getting braces during elementary school and middle school without even asking their parents for them or needing them, while I had to beg and plead with my parents to get braces since elementary school for literal years on end and shed tears in desperation while they got angry at me for being obsessed with my appearance and talked about cost and needing to prioritize money despite the fact my parents make fucking six figures and splurge on vacation ever year.
