Rn it’s only a cleanser and moisturizer (Cerave foaming cleanser and The ordinary NMF + HA)

But i’m waiting for adapalene to arrive, to hopefully be acne free for once in my life:feelswah:

Yeah it is. I have pretty sensitive skin, didn’t wanna risk fucking up my skin barrier with anything stronger.
nice, I once read a thread by @forwardridge about adapalene being better than tret, I don’t know tho

yeah i think its a lil better for the price and anti-inflammatory effects, cant go wrong with really any retinoid though

not severe at all:Comfy:
Then why are u considering isotret? I think this skincare routine + a good diet is perfect for maintaining healthy skin.
Adding isotret is just more likely to dry your skin and making it more irritated

Yeah i read that too. But tret is stronger so adapalene might not be enough, but i sure hope so:feelswah:

Switch the hyaluronic acid to a proper general moisturizer and the cleanser to a general one instead of some fancy shit that is a gamble. Add a sunscreen and should be good.

id recommend u add tinted sunscreen to ur morning routine + start tret from 0.025 and build ur way up or you'll just fuck up ur skin barrier badly like i did n don't apply too much tret a little gets the job done, also if ur skin is sensitive just cleanse at night before going to bed and wash ur face with water in the morning

But man, I hate wearing SPF:Comfy:
I have heard its quite important but if you're doing well without it then I guess it's fine. just be careful man, the downsides of not using it might not show for years so it could creep up on you. idk if you said earlier but how long have you been on it and how much sun exposure do you tend to get?

imo it would be worth trying to find a sunscreen you like but that can be pretty expensive so I understand why you wouldn't want to do it. idk what issues you have with regular sunscreens but if you're ever board one day it could be worth looking in to getting something designed to work for people who have the same problem with it you do. up to you tho bro, good luck with accutane when you start

I have a lot of SPF at home, I just don’t like applying it, I might have to get a tinted SPF cus I want to stop using BB cream
