yes, you heard me right, a picture of you in the mirror will is all you need, of course you can use a third person
photo of yourself (alone please, don't put a picture with someone else as your pfp)
BIOGRAPHY
This step is simple, and your task is to keep it that way
do not have 500 facts about yourself, you should only have 1 or 2 crucial facts about yourself
for example: your age - school you go to
Me personally i keep it empty, don't put motivational phrases or bible quotes
USERNAME
once again, keep it simple. Don't use cringy names like "everyonehatesfranco"
just use a shortened version of your name + your last name(or other way around if last name is too long)
you want to be recognizable and easy to look up
try not to add to many symbols like (-;.;_) these make your name hard to look up and make it less clean
HIGHLIGHTS
These are what people will check first when seeing your profile (if public)
I recommend to have a max of three highlights: One for yourself, one for you and your friends/family and one for
random pictures you like (a nice view, a pic you took traveling, etc.)
you can name them to what they represent or keep it default and add a picture that correlates to the content
FEED POSTS
in my opinion, feed posts are not an obligation, but they can add to your profile a lot
feed posts should be more elaborated than stories, that why you post them on your feed
it can be a dump, a photo someone else took of you,etc.
NOW ONTO THE STRAT FOR GETTING TONS OF IG FOLLOWERS
(THIS METHOD WON'T WORK OR WILL BE A LOT HARDER IF YOU'RE FRIENDLESS)
STEP 0: WHEN YOU START YOUR ACCOUNT, FOLLOW SOME PEOPLE YOU KNOW, FRIENDS, COUSINS,ETC.
STEP 1: YOU WANT TO GO INTO YOUR FRIENDS FOLLOWING LIST, AND START FOLLOWING PEOPLE THEY
FOLLOW THAT ARE FROM YOUR CITY (EVEN DUDES) THIS WILL CREATE A CONTINUOUS FEEDBACK CYCLE,
BECAUSE ANYONE WHO YOU FOLLOWS OPENS YOU UP TO NEW PEOPLE FROM YOUR CITY
CREATING A CHAIN OF FOLLOWING THAT CAN GO ON FOREVER, AND ITS NOT
LINEAR, IT'S EXPONENTIAL, MEANING IT WILL BE HARDER WHEN YOU START BUT EASIER AS YOU RACK UP
