i used to igmaxx when i was younger. ngl a smaller amount of followers is better than having 1000 followers. i lost my password in late 2023 so i stopped using ig but before that i tried not to go above 400 followers and u shouldnt follow a lot of people. also dont put ur age and school in bio its cringe asf for girls.
just follow a lot of girls and those that follow back hit them up and those that dont remove the follow yh. and also why tf would u follow guys that u dont know . shi gay asf (if above 15/16) ngl

More followers equals more status. Also just put your school year in bio like everyone else. Calling it cringe makes no sense everyone does that.

BIOGRAPHY
This step is simple, and your task is to keep it that way

do not have 500 facts about yourself, you should only have 1 or 2 crucial facts about yourself

for example: your age - school you go to

Me personally i keep it empty, don't put motivational phrases or bible quotes

USERNAME
once again, keep it simple. Don't use cringy names like "everyonehatesfranco"

just use a shortened version of your name + your last name(or other way around if last name is too long)
you want to be recognizable and easy to look up

try not to add to many symbols like (-;.;_) these make your name hard to look up and make it less clean

HIGHLIGHTS

These are what people will check first when seeing your profile (if public)

I recommend to have a max of three highlights: One for yourself, one for you and your friends/family and one for

random pictures you like (a nice view, a pic you took traveling, etc.)

you can name them to what they represent or keep it default and add a picture that correlates to the content

FEED POSTS
in my opinion, feed posts are not an obligation, but they can add to your profile a lot

feed posts should be more elaborated than stories, that why you post them on your feed

it can be a dump, a photo someone else took of you,etc.

CREATING A CHAIN OF FOLLOWING THAT CAN GO ON FOREVER, AND ITS NOT

LINEAR, IT'S EXPONENTIAL, MEANING IT WILL BE HARDER WHEN YOU START BUT EASIER AS YOU RACK UP
FOLLOWS AND FOLLOWS
