Heres a chart from 2015 showing the changes of dating patterns from 1955 to the current year 2015. that is a 60 year difference. As you can see on top there are the interesting and good looking and on the bottom theres the vast majority of this forum. the lower ends and the regular dudes. what I've noticed is that as celebrities grew and social media and as we became very focused on the lifes of others dating preferences have changed. I wouldn't say celebrities back then where ugly but I would say that they weren't as attractive as celebrities now. Most celebrities now become celebrities because of their looks and this is a growing majority of most people because the celebrities we see are actors and actresses or influencers. and what do celebrities have? they have money. I believe this has wired the brain of the human race into thinking that the hotter the person is the more money they have or at least in a sense.
one of my female friends is dating a guy whos 6'3 and fairly good looking not crazy but she's 5'4 and I wouldn't say she's ugly but she's a regular person. I asked her why she wants to date a man on such a higher scale than her and she said it makes her feel like she's dating a celebrity because of how handsome he is. she then compared him to a celebrity and thats when it clicked. by dating hotter men these women r living out their wet dreams of dating their celebrity crush.
As more and more women advocate for moving up and dating men better than themselves this type of thing is pushed down the throats of a younger generation and they begin taking after their favorite women influencers.
This has caused tinder to be a shithole.
In times like these men are desperate to find a woman but it has become increasignly harder to because now they want millionare chads but who can blame them.
On the left is the average user on org (I'm gonna use a european cs thats the easiest avg 19 year old morph I could find
If we look at Simon Nessman compared to the average 19 year old on org what do we see? we see he terra's us to death. but yet they'd rather choose this supermodel over a regular dude. this shows that mentally women will always strive for better no matter if they're able to have their looksmatch.
Hypergamy has always exsisted obviously since women could choose who they wanted to marry but as social media came around it began to enable it even more.
We are not the problem social media is.
Morgan out.
