Naked mole-rat hyaluronic acid differs from human and mouse hyaluronic acid in that its molecular chain of disaccharides is longer.

It exerts superior cytoprotective effects in a polymer length-dependent manner:

“Here, we show that vHMM-HA [very high molecular mass hyaluronic acid, the longer polysaccharides that is the naked mole rat’s hyaluronic acid] (>6.1 MDa) has superior cytoprotective properties compared to the shorter HMM-HA. It protects not only NMR cells, but also mouse and human cells from stress-induced cell-cycle arrest and cell death in a polymer length-dependent manner.” (Takasugi et al, 1)

Interestingly, high molecular mass hyaluronic acid (like that in humans) versus naked mole rat hyaluronic acid have differing effects CD44, which results in the naked mole rat hyaluronic acid protect cells from p53 (which can cause cells to senesce or apoptosize):
“The cytoprotective effect is dependent on the major HA-receptor, CD44. We find that vHMM-HA suppresses CD44 protein-protein interactions, whereas HMM-HA promotes them. As a result, vHMM-HA and HMM-HA induce opposing effects on the expression of CD44-dependent genes, which are associated with the p53 pathway. Concomitantly, vHMM-HA partially attenuates p53 and protects cells from stress in a p53-dependent manner.” (Takasugi et al, 1)

Mice with an overexpressed nmrHas2 gene lived healthier, longer lives:
“To study whether the benefits of HMM-HA could be transferred to other animal species, we generated a transgenic mouse overexpressing naked mole-rat hyaluronic acid synthase 2 gene (nmrHas2). nmrHas2 mice showed an increase in hyaluronan levels in several tissues, and a lower incidence of spontaneous and induced cancer, extended lifespan and improved healthspan.” (Zhang et al, 2)

Here’s the survival curves of female mice (a) and make mice (b):
IMG 8791

The naked mole rat nmrHas2 gene2 increased median lifespan in female mice by 9% and maximum lifespan in males by 16%.

These transgenic mice had a younger epigenetic age compared to controls:
IMG 8793

Referring to chart c, not only is the epigenetic age younger, but appears to age more slowly as well.

I am hoping that naked mole-rat hyaluronic acid will be available on the market in the near future.

nice shitpost bro. (y)

Can I use eyeballs to get the necessary hyaluronic acid levels?

nice shitpost bro. (y)
This isn’t a shitpost, idiot. Once this NMR hyaluronic acid is produced, it will be an effective molecule to fight aging.

This ain´t server for something actually helpful so that is considered as shitpost.

The point of this post is that Naked mole rat hyaluronic acid specifically is beneficial.

Theoretically, if you ate naked mole rat eyeballs, the hyaluronic acid would be broken down into oligosacharrides before being absorbed, therefore rendering it no better than HMM-HA.

Mere seconds after this thread was posted, the world's supply of Naked Mole Rat Hyaluronic Acid was purchased by an unknown buyer in the Hollywood Hills

Not even a single fcking atom son.

It looks promising. Sadly it takes years and years from testing in mices to it being comercialized, many times it doesn't even pass FDA phase 2 or 3, I hope this isn't the case this time. Nevertheless, this is a very interesting post.

This graph shows the survival rate of cells treated with vHMM-HA (vanillyl-hydroxymethyl-4-hydroxyacetanilide). The survival rate is plotted on the y-axis, and the time is plotted on the x-axis. The data is shown from 2 to 6 days after treatment.
The graph shows that the survival rate of cells treated with vHMM-HA is significantly higher than the survival rate of cells that are not treated. After 6 days, approximately 80% of the cells treated with vHMM-HA are still alive, while only 40% of the untreated cells are still alive.

Interesting shit indeed I mapped this based on the first bit of data very fucking interesting how can we apply this to humans though ? @

Youㅤ also JFL at the brain dead posters on this thread why aren't scholars or academics into actual serious looking maxing content instead it's brain dead shit posters
