Narrow palate?

I’m trying to fix my tounge posture but the back of my teeth are blocking my tounge. I can do the front of my tounge but not the back of it.

Also I have a slightly downturned nose with a bump. And a recessed mandible/chin. But my mom, sister, and dad all have projected chin/mandible and an upturned nose that is straight? What went wrong?
