Narrowing nose bridge = closer percieved IPD, widening = wider perceived IPD

Don’t know if this is water or not but rmb seeing someone saying the inverse with a very detailed thread. Hell even the surgeons on realself say the same (inverse).

Cyclops IPD saved by widening nose bridge ^

Imaging the nose bridge with two hands lined up with the canthus pushing outwards. The closer these hands get to the canthus by widening the bridge the more of a “pushing” effect they give.

I personally have a 70mm IPD with a nose bridge similar to her before which is why I imagine it doesn’t look that ridiculous (narrowing effect.)
