I m not a technical expert like a surgeon but I know bimax ' s outcome when done properly with CCW rotation with bone grafting.

Recessed lower maxilla and to a lesser extend recessed mandible cause naso labial folds, highly visible from profile. I got them too my jaws are slightly recessed.
