i see people in my hometown that have been training for 3+ years and still look like they never picked up weight their entire lives, myself included, i quit the gym for about a year now and nobody gives a fuck at all, when the summer approach i will hop on a stack then winter i will quit then repeat

What split?
Modified push pull legs to include a full upper body day. Strength sets with accessories. I’ve only locked in for the last 5 months about. I basically lock in for a year and then take a couple month hiatus. Mid cut pic for ref.

As long as you take the muscles to failure or near failure you WILL grow (unless you’re doing some retarded overtraining). Split barely matters as long as you’re hitting the muscles. I just do my split because I’m used to it.

You will build a good physique and high level of strength compared to the general public

But you will look like you don’t lift compared to steroid users

I lift twice a week

Enough to gain and maintain decent levels of fitness and strength, but leaves me a lot of free time to do whatever else I want

If you train properly natty you’ll still look good after 3 years, most of them have shitty diets and training programs and aren’t consistent
But enhanced training is obviously optimal, but most people aren’t comfortable with the risk profile and having to inject themselves on a daily basis
