SONG TO LISTEN TO WHILE READING
:
DONT TOUCH YOUR HAIR!!!
your hand has dirt and grime.
You may think your a PSL 8 MOGGER when your fingers go through your hair but touching your hair with your bare hands causes the grime and shit from your hands to come in contact with your hair. Causing guess what?
HAIR PROBLEMS RETARD
----------
DONT STRESS NIGGA
stress directly impacts your skin and oil.
Stress spikes cortisol and adrenaline, which overstimulates your hair follicles and your scalps sebaceous glands to get into overdrive. Causing an excess production of sebum, fueling greasy hair, fungal imbalances and guess what?
You get dandruff
----------
DONT LEAVE YOUR HAIR WET (Unless air drying with the SUN)
Dandruff is caused by a microbe that’s always present on your scalp whether your hair is wet or dry.
The microbe thrives best in warm, damp environments, so going to bed with wet hair could make it more likely that you’ll experience scalp issues.

1. muh you need to shampoo every few days!!!
Incorrect. By doing so you are ruining your scalp health by over-cleansing and drying. In hospitals as well as medical centers in Eastern parts of the globe, they often tell their patients to not use shampoo and to simply use semi-warm water and cleanse with their hands. In most cases using extra shampoo to combat things like hair conditions can cause dermatitis, pityriasis, and hair eczema.

2. You need to use shampoo more than conditioner!!!'
Wrong. Again in cases like dermatitis, pityriasis, and other hair conditions, conditioning allows for the smoother texture of the hair while shampoo cleanses. The only necessary time to use shampoo is if dirt, grime and other waste have reached your hair and needs to be cleaned. Using the same logic for your hands, you should not wash your hands after touching every surface. Same reason why you should use lotion more than body wash.
3. Not shampooing can cause oily hair!!!
Very retarded. I had a one-on-one interview with my professional Chinese doctor who specifically said that he prescribes people with itchy hair and oily scalp to stop shampoo and only use conditioner. To cleanse their hair again only use clean hands to wash their hair with warm water. Your hair is also meant to be oily, it has a natural oil production and stripping its oils is what causes excessive oily hair.

1. "You should completely stop shampooing if you have dermatitis!!!"
Incorrect. Seborrheic dermatitis is often linked to an overgrowth of Malassezia yeast and scalp inflammation. Completely avoiding cleansing can actually worsen buildup, oil imbalance, and irritation. Don't use store bought slop and be careful if you do.
2. "Any shampoo will make dermatitis worse!!!"
Wrong. Harsh sulfates can irritate some people, but medicated shampoos are actually first-line treatment. Ingredients like ketoconazole, zinc pyrithione, selenium sulfide, or coal tar are commonly used to reduce flaking and inflammation. I used Chinese selenium sulfide shampoo but only used it once a week and extended the time period between each wash to ensure my hair didn't get used to it.
HIGHLIGHTED SENTENCE: ONCE A WEEK AND EXTENDED THE TIME PERIOD BETWEEN EACH WASH
DON'T USE THESE SHAMPOOS FREQUENTLY. OR ANY SHAMPOOS FREQUENTLY FOR THAT MATTER.
3. "Dermatitis is just dry skin so you only need moisturizer/oils!!!"
Not accurate. While dryness can be part of it, the main issue is inflammation + yeast overgrowth. Heavy oils on the scalp can sometimes make it worse by feeding the yeast. Treatment usually focuses on medicated cleansing + calming the barrier.
REALISTIC APPROACH THAT WORKS:
- Wash your hair with cold or lukewarm water
- Use conditioner only on hair lengths, not scalp
- Avoid scratching (it increases inflammation and flaking)
There are few reasons that this may occur and almost every single time it is 100% avoidable.
Too much product (muh a 6 step hair routine. stop wasting money.)
Tight Hairstyles (Cornrows, braids, ethnic braided hair that fuck up your hair follicles.)
Sweat and friction (If you exercising don't wear bandanas or hats. Sweat builds up and is then absorbed by your head.)
DRY SKIN (Often caused by using TOO MUCH PRODUCT or EXCESS SHAMPOO)

Excess Oils: Caused by unwashed hair and because of the excess oils left on your hair unattended.
PRODUCT USAGE: Adding oils to your hair that ALREADY produce natural oils is the most braindead behavior which fucks your hair over causing your head to react unnaturally to the oils added.

Its almost as if adding unnatural products to your hair can cause it to be irritated?
Adding things like oils, shampoo with 60 thousand chemicals of names you can't pronounce, shitty conditioners made in a factory in New Delhi does not help your hair one bit.
Clean and natural rules to follow when doing hair care:
-- Shampoo once a month.
-- Take a shower each time you sweat and wash your hair with semi-cold water.
-- Conditioner each time you wash your hair. (ONLY YOUR HAIR AND NOT YOUR HEAD. ROOTS ONLY)
-- Only air dry if the thing drying your hair is the SUN and nothing else.
-- You can use a hair dryer but DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING WET OR FACE THE ITCHY CONSEQUENCES.
-- Shower in Morning or Midday. Avoid night because your hair will be producing oils on your bed which will stay there.
