i had this new years eve party i went to with a bunch of family and friends and we started at around 9pm. i arrived, got my food and ate for about an hour (surplus jfl) and i deadass did not talk to single person in that party (except for family). i didn't talk to anyone, most of the time i was sitting in my chair and zoning out or standing up to take a "bathroom break" but i wanted to get away from all the noise and sit by myslef to doomscroll

ndpill is brutal and i cant seem to talk to anybody new and expanding my social circle is near impossible. id say i have a pretty decent amount of social skills and i can talk to people and dont stutter etc but genuinly cannot keep up a conversation or introduce myself to new people, like "hello sir my name is .... and i wanna be your friend!!". its brutal for nd people out here. I am above average in looks and height so its not because of that. i had a girl eyefucking me the whole new years eve party, made eye contact a couple times but couldnt fucking start a conversation cuz she was across the table and cuz i just cant approach people jfl (she was like hmtb as well), not to mention a family friend

i feel fucking retarded being forced to attend these parties just to doomscroll and socialize with nobody except my family and im lowkey thinking im autistic or sum, and staring at the wall for hours. how do you guys do this party shit because i geuinienly cannot stand this shit, like dancing and drinking is just fucking weird jfl and im underage anyway
