Actually, survival of the fittest isn’t about being "superior" in a general sense it’s about adaptation to the environment. Neanderthals had larger brains, but they didn’t survive because their way of life didn’t adapt to changing conditions. It’s not about being the "victorious" or "superior" race, but who can adapt to the world around them. And as for the breeding programs or simulations idea, that’s not how evolution works either it's much more about natural selection than some grand plan.
