Corners pushed back decently far, thinning and shedding have been rampant.

I hopped on 2.5mg Oral Min and 20mg Accutane(figured it would be worth to mention)

However I don't want to attack my serum DHT whatsoever so finasteride/dutasteride (even topical) is out of the picture, and that has led me to believe it's either RU58841 or Clascosterone, which one would be better? What do you guys think? Obtaining either is quite difficult sadly

RU or KX826

just take fin or dut. stop being a retard. your alternative is a research chemical wtf are you so afraid of. 30 years of proven efficacy vs shit done in a chinese lab.

Low IQ response, learn from the guy above you.
you're the only low IQ one. spraying a bunch of topical shit everyday. what a fucking bother. get real man.

Could you expand on this if possible? Thank you
Ru is more powerful, cheaper, more easily accessible, proven to work through animal studies and a decade plus of anecdotal reports

Pyrilutamide is weaker and unproven to work as well as more expensive, the best you can hope from pyrilutamide is maintenance if you're lucky

You might ask why even bother with pyrilutamide if ru is so much better

The answer is that ru being such a strong antiandrogen can cause lung and heart problems if too much goes systemic, while pyrilutamide doesn't do this

Clascoterone isn't worth talking about because the grey market vendors don't have the correct carrier, the official version will release in a year

I understand, so everything has crippling downsides. Honestly the reason why I am not trying to settle for something like Fin is because I strongly believe affecting serum DHT is a bad idea. But also if RU were to go systemic it could bind to other androgen receptors elsewhere and it's all fucked. Unsure of what to do -_-

I think you should try fin first a lot of people have no perceptible side effects and if you do you can hop off, plus it works better than anything else besides dut

Yes lowering serum dht isn't ideal

And not just dht it also lower 5ar reduced neurosteroids

but also hair is the most important feature even more than eyes or jaw so

I had horrible sides on fin I felt like I was going insane but I'm still glad I gave it a try because at least I can know I tried now

I have 0.025% topical solution, enough for 3 months in my cabinet right now. Just have an irrational fear of it possibly not giving me the most of whatever's left of my development as a man(what DHT is responsible for atleast)

Did you take oral finasteride? What do you take now after you realized fin isn't for you?

How old are you

Yes I did oral all kinds of dosing schedules topical etc all of it gives me problems within a week or 2

I don't take anything atm and just accept that I'm norwood 2

I kind of go on fin for a few months and then stop taking it once I can't handle the sides anymore and repeat cycling on and off of it tbh

It sucks but nothing else comes even as close as effective as fin

I'm freshly 21, I have had good hair all my life until early 20s where I started noticing it pushing back slightly but it was always incredibly thick and strong.
Just recently, maybe a month ago I noticed unexplained shedding and thinning that genuinely scared me so much to the point where I decided I need to hop on something.

Man I can't accept that shit, whenever I go outside I have to always obey the wind because the minute it blows up and reveals my corners then everything is fucked.

Brutal world man

I began at 17

The only hope for any new treatments coming soon is clascoterone which 95% chance it's a shittier weaker version of ru

But don't think yourself into the rope yet you may as well try fin first

If you do get sides from your topical you can just stop

It is an unpleasant world at best, I suppose I will try the Fin as you said, without my hair I truly don't exist anyways so fuck it.

I also should mention I have been on like a pack of cigs a day for 4 months so I'm gonna stop that now, it might be part of the cause as to why my hair is weaker now, will also improve my diet in hopes of it helping me grow healthier hair.

Yeah I just fear that if the Fin doesn't work out for me I will just be fucked, doesn't seem like there's many promising fallback product to use at the moment.

But one more thing I wanted to ask you, regarding minoxidil actually.

I plan to stay on 2.5mg daily, but I fear it may cause bloat, what can you say about this? And regarding the accutane I doubt it will benefit my hair as I've read of cases where people shed a lot from it..

Accutane isn't good for hair this is true

You could try lower doses or try taz topical or wait it out if it's only temporary thing

If you get bloat just switch to topical tbh it should work about as well

Alright one more thing, could you advise me on how I should treat/wash my hair? I usually just don't even shampoo and when I wash it's just with water. I also invested in some great shower filter as to give my hair the best fighting chance, some KDF-55 and Activated Carbon or whatever.

But do you recommend any shampoo to use? I've been thinking of Nizoral maybe 2x a week, I have slight dandruff but really not visible unless I dig it out (sounds disgusting but yeah) I also use sea salt spray sometimes.

Ketoconazole is good it has some weak anti androgenic activity

Either nizoral or better yet you could get some ketoconazole 2% cream for cheap from India and use that instead

Besides that I don't think any shampoo or products makes much of a difference

He’s not wrong. 5AR inhibitors (Fin, DUT) have a well documented efficacy in long term studies over 10+ years.

RU in contrast never made it to phase 3 clinical trials and its long term risk profile is unknown. The best we have our internet anecdotes.

That being said, an optimal hair loss prevention protocol would incorporate both a 5AR inhibitor AND a topical anti androgen.
