I have a long face. I've been checking my xrays and comparing my profile to the average, and realized that the line formed between upper and lower teeth is at around -10 degree angle, while the normal angle is around 0. I believe that if I got my maxilla reduced by a few mm to make my bite angle more horizontal, my face would become less long, my lower jaw would rotate and become more projected, and I could also add a genio to get a stronger and more prominent chin.
Please I need your advice on this. Do you feel this is a good idea, would it help me improve? Do you have suggestions for any other procedures that could benefit me?
Thank you
