Like in 638 when caliph Umar took Jerusalem he granted a treaty to the inhabitants protecting their churches when the crusaders came in 1099 they massacred thousands of Muslims and Jews. Also in 1191 Richard the Lionheart had 2700 Muslim prisoners executed including woman and children. Like I am not saying all christians are evil because the actions of few, and also the issue I find when reading an English translated Quran is because Arabic and English and very different languages with different systems so most English translations are direct and do not capture the essence of what was written

You’re just comparing one individual case to another. The crusaders started because muslims were invading into Byzantium. They had also colonised spain and the middle east and tried to push into france.

Muslims were the aggressors, not the other way round. The pope wanted knights to stop fighting, but that’s a minor reason, not the main one. You seen like a level headed guy. Most muslims teach very one sided and biased history. I suggest you listen to unbiased sources.
