need gym advice

I weigh 125 lbs at 5'9, 18 years old. I have no visible abs, and my face still looks a big bloated. Everyone tells me I need to just eat more and bulk, but I feel like it would just make it worse. Should I maintain and just workout more, deficit, or surplus. I just want to look aesthetic but I feel my base is horrible.

I was homeschooled shut-in loser who never left his house for years, so my muscle development is in the fucking drain, skinnyish limbs but have a bit of stomach fat. I recently started gyming and have seen a little progress. but everytime I look in the mirror I feel disgusted.

I don't want to blame my genetics before I even try going to the gym for a couple months, but I feel like I'm cooked ngll XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I can send my body/frame if that would help as well. I just wanna look the best I can

body recomp with slight cal deficit and 1g protein per bw
