Need help about career

I’m working at fintech rn at junior ml-engineer position. I wanna be a quant but I think this shit will take all of my time and I won’t be able to enjoy life, but money is much better than just IT. But if I’m staying in ml(ai) field I will be able to get my own team and make a projects that I think would help society but obviously I would get less money, but it will have better work/life balance.

So which one is better in your opinion.
