need help with my facial structure

i am getting braces soon with elastic bands, no teeth extractions, my orthodontist told me that those braces will bring my lower jaw a bit forward, widen my dental arch and bring my upper teeth a bit up since they are blocking my lower ones. what i wanted to ask you is, are they even good for me, will they help me and what can i expect from them also it would be helpful if u guys could tell me what else i can improve and all the flaws you see on my x-ray and if it is possible to fix them, it would be a lot of help
