Need help with ortho jews

So I just got back from the orthodontist and they said I had TMJ well I knew that but I also found out that I have a severe deep bite and they want to correct it with bite correction. They said they will use rubber bands which my question is that will this fuck up my maxilla which is not that bad rn like growth wise it’s okay not recessed my mandible however . I have a good bit of facial asymmetry where it might be the TMJ if anyone could help me out with that that would be nice on that approach and my bite is pretty fucked up like I can only feel the right side of my teeth when I bite down and my whole face is more compact on the right too it’s also my whole body I still don’t know how to fix that yet. And my front teeth fully cover the bottom and my jaw opens and closes in a shifting manner. Should I go along and go with this ortho or is this going to completely fuck up my face?

I also have the same thing with the right side of my face. Could just be genetics bc I noticed it in photos before braces - treatment isn’t gonna make it worse, plus straight white teeth is such a halo so braces are worth it 100%

Don’t bro. If you are a teen get myobrace and ask them about jaw surgery. You can fraud a sleep study to get it covered by insurance.

Yeah, it’s not insane or anything but I have no recession anywhere. Braces for over 3 years and bands for at least 1. No regrets
