i’ve never seen anyone with philtrum and smile lines as bad as mine. my skin is healthy, my diet is good, and i’m not recessed, so why the fuck does it look like this? it’s not even wrinkles—my skin is overall youthful. i think it might have something to do with my upper teeth structure. my lower teeth are crowded, but the upper ones are straight so idk.
what causes this and what kind of professional should i see to adress this? it’s esp noticeable in bad lighting where it looks subhuman as fuck, makes me look disabled and older than i am. for context i used to carry a lot more face fat as a kid and lost a lot of weight rly fast and have been very skinny for years now

yes i have the exact same issue, it seems my upper teeth protrude too far forward and its fucks up my philtrum and casts off a really ugly shadow in bad lighting and makes it look like i have very sever smile lines even tho my skin is great

any ideas on how to fix? maybe try orthodontics?, bro this might be the issue, makes a lot of sense

yeah i will look into that. currently making money for braces but you always have to be very careful there. i need to find a professional who can fix this and my lower teeth crowding without removing teeth

Show side profile, probably just a lack of forward growth, bimax would probably fix

my side is good i actually think too much forward growth causes this. after looking at old pictures of barrett he has the same thing but less severe, it looks more subhuman on me because of long philtrum and i carry more face fat in that area
