My dad's not bald, but he's had very thin hair since his 20s. His hairline is not even at norwood 2, but his crown is super thin, and has a big bald spot.

You don't lose 20 in a day, closer to 100, and if you have around 150k strands, then even more the 100, it's just that you don't notice it, it happens slowly
