The "61%" figure is actually from a small study done way back in 2011 on only 138 college students and has absolutely no relation to the country as a whole. This study was actually on "rape myths" related to acquaintances (date rape), which is a sociological issue found in every country in the West and has absolutely no relation to Israel. In fact, in 2011, the same year the study was done, Israel imprisoned their own President for the crime of rape. This is a country that takes the issue very seriously.
