It’s not dumb
It’s just not gonna get you anything if u don’t have any status to begin with
As a bellman that had no status, people took me seriously, just gotta larp a little.

WHY YOU SHOULD NETWORK:

Networking is an incredibly important factor to anybody’s success no matter what.
For example it can land you jobs that you are heavily under qualified for, I was offered a job as a scientist for a $5billion pharma company as apart of the hair loss prevention as a 20 year old autist with no degree. All because I know the head scientist and said what I needed to impress them.
View attachment 4627528View attachment 4627530

It can get you valuable internships, scholarships, discounts, jobs, friends, and business deals and it is completely dependent on your ability to talk.

WHERE TO START NETWORKING:

You want to be in an environment where you are almost forced to talk to successful people. Some good options would be:
1. Working as a bellman at a 5 star hotel (best option)
2. Working at golf course
3. Going to car meets on weekends
4. Use a free trial for an expensive ass gym like lifetime or equinox and talk to ppl in sauna

just find a place that has a good environment of successful people.

IMPORTANT SKILLS:

1:You need to be able to direct the conversation so that the ball is in your court by playing off of their words. (USE LARPING TO YOUR ADVANTAGE)

2: Be really good at larping

3: SHOW PASSION. Sound like you give a fuck about your future and these people will be more willing to connect with you.

4: LinkedInmax. A lot of the time this is what they ask to reach you on. Don’t be the jackass who loses their opportunity to this.

LAST FEW TIPS:

1. Look professional. It’s going to be obvious that looks will help your situation but speaking is the key factor.
2. Have an end goal or reason for the networking.
3. Don't be afraid to hit them up after exchanging info, doesn’t matter if you’re just asking how their business/life is going.

MY SUCCESS:

I am 20 years old and live in a penthouse in Southern California. I own 2 businesses (one I will not mention) the lesser being a yacht cleaning service. I started out as a bellman and met many CEOs, boat owners, doctors, lawyers, etc… that I have connected with over the past 2 years and have been crucial to my success.

TLDR: learn how to talk and who to talk to
Good post. Wish I realized this earlier. I have missed out on so many opportunities by being an intovert. Just getting the “task” done alone isn’t enough if you’re trying to level up in life.

Has anyone successfully transformed themselves from an introvert to an extrovert? I’m still in the process and ts ain’t easy

how much would looks help and how much would being ethnic decrease?

also how much do you make now if i may ask

how much would looks help and how much would being ethnic decrease?
I am ethnic 6’3 lmtn. One time after negotiating a deal with someone I met when I was a bellman he told me this. “I only took you seriously because you were tall, handsome, and fit.” I tried my hardest to hold in my thoughts after lol.

Hard to pinpoint because it’s currently snowballing but this week probably $8k which is on the lower end. Every month I make a large wholesale order with a 40% commission and it keeps getting bigger and bigger.

are you involved in sex trafficking

amazing thread, however you need a bit of status to begin with + if you sound low iq or have the wrong vocabulary the larp will come crashing down. unless they're actually fucking retarded, they will notice if ur larping based on the way you articulate yourself

Become a larp god and larp ur status. I didn’t need to do this but I know someone who genuinely harped his way to the top. He lied about how good he is with computers and I got him a job with a super high profile individual. He was offered $100k to take down an article 💀. I’m not going to tell you who or what because I can get in big big trouble but the person in question has a net worth of at least $1 billion.

How did you research info on finding which direction to take in terms of your business? Or was it just trial and error?

Also is your other business web related like marketing or is it also a ”real” job like a cleaning service etc

I have a couple ideas but ive been trying to find info on what to do next in terms of them.

Also did your businesses cost any money to setup?

Completely false

Source: noticing what happens irl with successful people I know

Who were you trying to network with

But it is true that you still need to have some credibility to successfully network

Also, many of the best networking environments are locked behind a paywall + often times require more than money (such as yacht/country clubs), but if you can get into these places, you are almost guaranteed to be able to network

Making friends with people in these environments/have parents in these environments would be a good move if you aren’t in them already

It requires skill and a reason to actually network. They aren’t going to just help a nobody, I had to establish credibility as someone who is already mildly successful and super smart.

no matter how qualified you are, how good at the job you are, or what people you know (the 2nd most important)

you'll never know anyone have enough subconscious bias to let you "in" if you're not good looking

if sub 5 dont even bother with the corporate ladder unless u can nepo ur way in

U need to be more than acquaintances to truly grasp benefits from ‘networking’
