I have recently been wondering why my brother is so short, I've wondered why friends of mine are so short compared to their own twins. the thing that both of these people have in common is that they are both neurodivergent, i've put some thought into to and knowing that they are both on medication for "Autism/ADHD/ADD" I've wondered if medication could have a impact on their growth. for more detail my brother is 25yo and 169-170cm while I'm 178cm at 14 3/4yo (our parents are 186+159cm) as a child he suffered severly from Autism and was given heavy medication (I assume) another example from my experience is a pair of twins about the same age as me, one is 176-177cm and the other is 158>cm the shorter one happens to have "ADHD+ADD" and has personally told me he is on heavy medication for it. I've skimmed this site: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9627528/ and a few others I've gathered the info from all of them that the medication for the neurodivergent conditions I've mentioned may only STUNT height growth (similar to how estrogen may stunt growth as seen when people who are transgender inject estrogen, there are many examples of teen males takes est in teen year then going back on it and hopping off and just then hitting puberty. BUT in my brothers case that is not how it resulted this may be because he was given medication until his plates closed and didn't have much time to grow height wise. we'll see how the twin turns out though. lmk what you guys think about it and share your experiences if you have any
