Forward growth and over advancement doesn't look good at all, its worst in real life than in pics

I know many users from this forum who got bimax from Alfaro and now want a revision

He is not to be trusted

And dont cope thinking big CCW is the solution for downward growth, if u have shit ramus/gonial u need implant

Everything out of proportion looks bad. If you're visually recessed, Bimax is good.

If you have a normal forward growth, Bimax is not a good idea

Its not about looking better in the after

They go from recessed to chimp /dogmax

I know many people who got bimax with Alfaro they were recessed like them, now they want revision because they look overadvanced

Bimaxilary protrusion is worst than being recessed, u will be a monkey freak on street

It's because he does no rotation and just straight pushes everything forward, like he doesn't take each person's individual features into account at all. However, for Class 2 death tier recessed people he is a godsend.

The reason why those patients looks so "dog-maxxed" even tho their mandible is still waaay shorter than people with natural ante-face( or hyperante-face) is because the rest of their Splanchnocranium is horizontally way too short to match agressively advanced lower third.

Those guys have really long zygomatic arch (called posterior facial depth by @RealSurgerymax ) along with very projected and full pyriform aperture ( anterior facial depth).

This is why they have 0 nasolabial folds their lower lid smoothly blend with cheekbones instead of repulsively bulge out of eye socket, their lips are wide and full etc.

this is false. Alfaro has many issues, but precisely lack of rotation is NOT one of them. arguably he does even too much rotation in some cases (that's why some of his patients get a class 3 appearance)
