Just lol. The thing is over here we have really two different trains here. The regular train system people are thinking about when they think of NYC trains are absolutely disgusting. The trains that take you to Long Island and other places are actually very clean and nice to use.Jfl tbh @TechnoBoss @ChadL1te @Clavicular
There trains like that in India too but they are very expensive almost 2x,3x the normal price. The train fares for these is still quite reasonable and very cheap compared to the coaches that look similar abroad but you have to remember most people in curryland are dirt poor. These trains are often empty. Hardly like 5-6 passengers at best unless you take the very busy routes. The Delhi Metro is extremely punctual regardless of the train you take tho.Just lol. NYC trains are extremely reliable. There is never a time that they're not running and if you miss a train there is another one at most 5 minutes away. I'd expect the New Delhi metro to be quite reliable too, considering the population is 33 million people.
- This is the inside of the trains you'll see on average in the typical areas of NYC.
- This is what you get when taking the fancier trains to Long Island.
Oh yeah, it's the exact same scenario here. The regular train people think of is around $2.90 here (used to be $2.75 recently) and the LIRR ticket is like MINIMUM $10 if I recall correctly. There trains like that in India too but they are very expensive almost 2x,3x the price.
