Has anyone had any experience of trying to fuck a bimax out of the NHS through the sleep apnea route? I have ways of inducing sleep apnea, and I've read that if you reject the CPAP machine that a jaw surgery is their next option.

My main concern is that the NHS, being the NHS, would do a botch job with zero shits given about aesthetics, or possibly even bite occlusion.

Anyone tried / succeeded?

If you reject the CPAP machine due to discomfort you'll get the mandibular advancement device (TMJ pain device I imagine) so presumably you can reject this too due to TMJ discomfort and they'll finally go with the surgical option.

I wouldnt let an nhs surgeon touch my face tbh. They will most likely just treat the functional aspect.

I was with a girl who was undergoing an NHS bimax and she has been in braces for years and hasnt even got the surgery yet.

this is possible but like above poster said would not advise it at all. i can literally get it done on the NHS due to my sleep apnea but i am opting to spend around 30k instead to have it done with a blackpilled surgeon.

the NHS will do it for you, but expect to be severely disappointed with the aesthetic result. jfl at wearing braces for 2 years and going through a major invasive surgery just to hardly look any different...

(1) you might have to wait years to have the surgery (2) the aesthetic outcome is likely to be dissatisfying because they aren’t operating on you based on those criteria (3) you can’t go for a revision because you don’t like the aesthetic outcome if your original reason for surgery was to get rid of sleep apnea.

In sum: avoid. Just scrape up the cash (get a loan if you have to) and go to one of the top EU surgeons.

If it’s not life threatening the NHS probably won’t do shit for you, or they will and it will take you years.

I had a relative who just recently got it done, she's 32 and had been waiting since she was 22. Yep, it took her 10 years to get it done.

The funniest part? I see not a single difference, at all. She looks exactly the same as she did when she had her braces on before it, and after the DJS and removal of the braces, no difference other than her teeth looking different due to braces being removed.
