Niacinamide use

I decided to try niacinamide since it supposedly is useful for acne scars and overall redness,but when I started using it,it fucked up my skin causing a lot of irritation,does anyone know why?Im not allergic to anything so I don’t think that’s the reason since I also use other products like cleanser and retinol and neither of them have gave me any problems

Its probably purging. its normal. just keep using it or switch to a less strong solution. Use SPF cause you'll get weaker skin barrier.
