I just got one from the dentist 3 days ago, and everytime I wear it i can't physically close my mouth without straining my chin, Mother says its normal and dentist says Its normal to sleep with your lips not sealed and I think that's bullshit, I'm getting braces after I get both my wisdom teeth removed but I can't bare the fact I have to sleep with this fuckass nightguard that doesnt make me close my lips while relaxed. Should I switch dentists or whatever doctor that was?

First figure out why yall grind your teeth in the first place, they told me the same thing but its just some shit board that leeches microplastics, Literally paid 20 bucks for a piece of Chinese shit

Mine isn't even plastic it's fucking silicone or some shit, I have a slight openbite so maybe if i get that fixed i wont have bruxism anymore

Also, for the past days aI've been wearing it my lips have not closed everytime I sleep, but I still breathe through my nose, don't know how that works but when I had it on I tested it if I breath through my nose or mouth but I still breathed through my nose even though my lips aren't sealed.
