Everyone online is pushing this "NoFap will change your life" thing.
"90 days to superpowers," "Retain your seed = become alpha."
Bro… let’s actually talk about the downsides no one wants to admit.
Let’s start here:
NoFap is not backed by any serious science.
Most of it is just YouTubers & Reddit dudes coping with addiction or loneliness.
Self discipline is cool, but demonizing a normal biological function? Wild lol.
Masturbation is NORMAL. It helps:
Instead of focusing on growth, they’re counting streaks like it’s a video game.
It becomes another addiction just in reverse.
Personal experience:
I tried NoFap for 30 days.
By day 10, I wasn’t feeling “superpowers” I was angry, anxious, and weirdly obsessed with sex.
I wasn’t "disciplining my urges" I was ignoring them.
That backfired hard, i literally wanted to do bad stuff every time i saw a girl due to my urges.
Another danger:
NoFap can make guys feel ashamed of their sexuality.
You start associating basic human desires with weakness or failure.
That mindset is toxic af and can seriously mess with your mental health.
Also… let’s not lie.
Most people start NoFap because of porn addiction or because they feel like losers.
If fapping is ruining your life, that’s worth addressing.
But don’t fall into the trap of thinking nofap = instant discipline, girls, and motivation.
It doesn’t work that way.
What helped me more than NoFap?
NoFap isn't the enemy. Neither is fapping.
The real goal should be balance.
If you're doing it 5 times a day to avoid life yeah, fix that.
But guilt tripping yourself over something normal? That’s not it.
You’re not a loser for fapping.
You’re not a god for quitting.

Masturbation is NORMAL. It helps:
- Reduce stress
- Improve sleep
- Release sexual tension
- Even boost immune function
- Anxiety
- Mood swings
- Sleep issues
- Obsession with "relapsing"

What helped me more than NoFap?
- Working out
- Journaling
- Talking to girls IRL (not imagining superpowers lol)
- Learning actual self control, not just denial
