as someone with long hair there’s nothing more annoying than people, especially your own parents, telling you to cut it

i will occasionally trim it ofc, especially for health and maintenance, but it’s my own hair and i can choose to do whatever i want with it. i love the way my thick long wavy hair feels and looks and ever since i made the choice to grow out my hair 3 years ago, i will never look back
