If LTRs suck, as with anything, you're just not doing it right. Then again, maybe you just don't like em. At this point in my life I couldn't imagine living any other way, without a family. I never really gave anything up to be married. When I was single the most important thing to me was travel/living nomadically. That lifestyle hasn't slowed down a bit in the last 4 years that I've been married.

This forum, along with streaming movies, was the only bit of internet I used for my last four months living in China. Everything else is blocked. I got me one boy almost a year old. We were living in a hotel in a different state when he was born. A few months from now we'll be moving to a different state again. For the past 12 years I've never really stayed in the same city or town for too much longer than a year.

Listen here. An LTR is whatever YOU, as a man, decide to make it. You shouldn't pay attention to what other people's relationships look like. Most people's marriages look boring and I wouldn't want that kind of life for myself either. But it doesn't have to be that way.

You gotta have a woman who's proven she's willing give everything she thought she wanted up and just follow you no matter where it takes her. If she's not down for that then you shouldn't be with her regardless of what kind of lifestyle you live.
