According to opinions I have read online, braces are retractive, meaning they will pull my (front) teeth backward, reducing lip support, making my face, lips and cheeks appear smaller, flatter and sunken.
If all those claims are correct, not just made up lies by John Mew and Mike Mew, what are examples of non-retractive ways to get my teeth straight? I want to have straight teeth without ruining my face.
